Shrunk After Handwash

Loved this dress in my local Myers store and bought it to wear for Christmas Day. Pre-washed it by hand in cold water, dried inside. A LOT of colour ran out of the fabric but I didn't worry about it too much at the time. Christmas Day came a couple of days later and the dress no longer fitted me! It has probably shrunk at least 2x sizes....not happy at all. Myer return instructions say 'unworn, unwashed & original tags', despite having the receipt (of course, I had removed the tags so i could wash it!) - So it appears I'm stuck with a dress I can't get a refund on or even wear because it's way too small for me. Absolutely disappointed with this purchase. I've never had a problem with any TS clothing before and I certainly hope this is a once-off issue.

I loved this dress But it shrunk after its careful first wash - by hand - will regretfully have to see if I can get a refund

Bought this dress because I love the colour and I have five other dresses in this style - some sleeveless, short sleeves and slightly longer sleeve. Everyone always comment on the dresses and how cool they look. This dress will be going back - the first four dresses were size 18 and quite loose, the navy dress like the red dress I went up a size to 20 (why when nothing had changed with me and the others all fit) anyhow I ordered the 20 online and it is too small. Not happy, I wanted to wear it Christmas Day - not to be.

Oh dear. I want to love this. The shape is flattering and the red colour is lovely, but there are 2 critical flaws with this dress. First, the sleeves are too tight, so I can’t move my arms forward. Second, the fabric is awful. It’s like a weird cheesecloth that is simultaneously hot and scratchy. It looks cheap. Please try again in a sleeveless design with a cooler fabric.
