A taste of the exotic

This garment is very light, almost ethereal and really delicate so always wash it by hand or in a wash bag on the delicate cycle. I have 3 of these gorgeous floaty long kimonos. They are to me statemen pieces to accessorise an outfit. The colours are much more vibrant than the washed out studio pics. Depending on the other items I pair it with, can really lift an outfit. It works with pants, skirts and my fave, dresses, especially maxi's. A bit of the exotic always feels a little more indulgent and fun even if its in your own back yard. Nice but…

Nice but…sequins at the back of the neck get caught in my hair and feel a bit annoying, otherwise it’s very pretty. It says it’s 10% silk but the garment doesn’t feel silky however the fabric feels better quality than the cheaper capes that TS also do, this is a nice length and I like the mix of muted leopard and vibrant water colour floral.
