Love the dress but hot to wear in summer

This is a very lovely dress. That's no doubt about it. You can put a clasp on the draps from the sides, to clasp/broach to the back, to make it look like a train or put it to the front. I love polyester but this could've been made in polyester georgette fabric, which is way lighter, and not this polyester satin, as this fabric is. It's so very hot to wear in summer in Far North QLD, where I am. You feel like you are wearing plastic bag and you get soaked with sweat. It may be ok in southern states in winter. rnrnKeep this above in consideration when you buy the dress. It's not for everyone and it strongly depends on where you live... With hot/humid climate, you won't wear it, unlike cold climates, you would.

I tried this dress on in store, and LOVED it. I love this fabric too. I bought my true size and that is needed around the bust. The length was fine on me: sitting p of the knee at front and long at the back, but not dragging. I am 5’2” and was wearing 3cm wedge heels. I do think the dress is a bit “boofy” at the hem each side, but when wearing it, I am not looking in a mirror!

I adore this dress!! I love the colours and the shape (don’t like polyester though) but the length is way off! The ad says 117cm but this is to the lowest hem, not the entire dress which is 128cm long. TS, it would help if measurements were of the entire dress length because it saves having to return dresses that are too long for us shorties. I’m heartbroken to have to return it because it’s just divine.

Tried this on at my local store and found it to be just lovely. Very comfortable and stylish. I tried the white mesh top underneath and that looked good, too. I would love this style with a short sleeve, TS.
