Ruffle Neck Ditsy Dress

I bought this dressrnLoved the style and fitrnHowever over 2 washes material has become Bally and the black has faded in places rnSuch a shame as the dress style and design is beautiful 😢

This dress is gorgeous but I think giving it a light iron is needed. I found when it's crushed it clings to every bump, but when ironed it flowed beautifully. I tried my usual size and it fits perfectly.

Purchased online. I really love this dress and snaggled it in a one day sale for 1/2 price. Im between an 18/20, depending on the cut (sometimes a 20 is way to big). However, in this case its a bit closer fit and I found that although the 18 fit, it was a bit snug... Im sending back for sizing alone and will get in the 20. my error. the material is very soft and would look amazing as in photo with high boots... will wait for next sale and try again.

This dress is light and floaty. It comes in a crush crinkle textured viscose with an elegant shiny finish like satin. Makes it suitable for evening formal wear. It arrives twisted and knotted in a long narrow bag. You don’t see the crinkled crush texture in the photo. It must be ironed flat. At first I found it clingy and column dress style like and it was unflattering on me because it emphasised the bits (midriff, belly, hips) I want to disguise but after a few minutes the fabric started to relax and it looked looser and floatier. It shows/fits the bust in a flattering way giving shape. Nice soft pretty neckline, not too low on a petite. It would look more relaxed if ironed. Handy pockets in side seams but I must take care how I use them as put hands too far forward and the back clings on my bottom! The colours and print are feminine, pretty and softly elegant. I am petite height so the length comes down to my shins at the front and longer, to the ankles at the back. The 3/4 sleeves length is a little longer on me but lovely and the style is pretty. Kind of like a trumpet shape while the frills on the cuffs and neckline are pretty too. This is a beautiful dress which is suitable for warm Spring and Autumn weather and can be layered to wear during winter too. It will look great with elegant sandals or closed high heels or with flat or high heeled boots in black, tan, or the trendy wine, mustard or emerald green colours. Lovely Autumn colours! A lovely poet boho chic dressy dress for day or evening wear. Decided to keep it and not twist it but sad I have missed 30% storewide sale by hours! Ah well! Looking forward to an opportunity to wear it now.
