Livia Chiffon Wrap Maxi Dress

Love the material falls very nicely the only thing it’s a bit long for me but I’ll just get some higher shoes love it

At last I can review this dress, after wearing it to a formal function at Government House in Darwin. I bought it because I knew the build-up has started and it was hot and humid (well not too bad actually) so the dress had to be cool and flowy. It was perfect! Earlier, I had to go on a major search for a plunge bra so the bra couldn't be seen underneath this V neckline. So ladies - you'll need a plunge bra. Also, I did add an extra very small safety pin in the V, as the neck gaped slightly. However, with those lovely chiffon capped sleeves the pin pulled the chiffon together perfectly without any pulls or obvious pinning. The length was perfect, and even though this dress is beautifully lined, it was cool and light and I looked pretty amazing actually! I wore the belt tied at the back but I could have worn it towards the front. I had the navy version on, with tiny pin stripes. For a woman who never wears formal wear, this dress completely fit the bill and I'll always treasure it for being a winning dress. Thank you TS. Go for it ladies, it's too good to miss especially now this dress is on special!

I bought the chocolate-orange dress on clearance in my usual size. I love the full length at the back, just above my heels and slightly shorter front. I will need to pin the front to stay safe! I possibly should have bought the next size up, which would have closed across a bit more. I love the chiffon cape and the lovely, floating feel when walking. I cruise a lot, with formal nights and dressy nights. This style dress will suit both with the various patterns.
