Lola Boiled Wool Coat

I was so excited when this coat arrived, but I was surprised and disappointed by the weight of the coat. It's very thin, the boiled wool is very light weight which for a wool blend coat wasn't what I was expecting. It has no lining so it's not as warm as I'd like or thought it would be for a cold day here in Southern Victoria. It's more for a coolish Spring or Autumn Day wearing something warmer underneath. I did love how the boiled wool has a great stretch to it, which made it comfortable to wear. I loved the style, hood & buttons but I was unhappy with the colour. The dusty pink was washed out, making it very plain and neutral not at all the dusty pink I've bought this season from elsewhere. I was quite disappointed, it reminded me of the old fashioned colour faded pink my great aunt used to wear when I was a child in 1965. I was going to return it, but I decided to give it to my 93-year-old mum who lives in aged care. She really loved the coat, especially the stretch of the boiled wool particularly in the upper arms as she has large arms. The Size L was a little big on her in the bust but hung lovely around her tummy and hips as she likes her clothes loose and comfortable. Mum loved the length; she is only about 5ft now and wears a Size 24-26 slacks and a Size 24 Top. rnI would love to see this coat lined with the same stretch lining that you used in the Boucle Swing Coat Arctic Dust that I also bought for myself in Size L which I just love and fits beautifully. rnThanks, TS, for the amazing collection of coats this year, I have four of them in different styles and I love them all! x

Bought a size bigger since I wasn't sure of the cut. Material was thinner than expected but I choose wool an and wear thinner layers which in many ways is great since I should be able to wear it year round. Design flows with any body shape, it's comfortable and I can wear it casually or button it up for a more semi evening look with other clothes and accessories. My first in choosing this colour besides my conservative black trench coats or navy coats.

Great colour, great fit and super comfortable. Easy to through on and looks great over jeans but can be dressed up too. Warm enough to wear with only a light top underneath. Has ever so slightly pilled but hardly noticeable.

I knew what I was getting after reading reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Colour is like on a photo (and like other blush items i bought this year from TS). I will treat it more like cardigan then structured coat. Bought a bit bigger size (I am 18/20- bought 20) and it look devine. Hood, Pockets and that lovely 'collar' at the front.rnIt is not pure pink- keep in mind

I ordered in XL and it turned out to be cut closer to the body than my previous purchase, the princess line Frankie, which was actually a bit too big. I can wear a cotton sweater underneath it without looking bulky This is made of thinner material, and is a very pale mauvish colour, which works as a neutral. It arrived as the weather is warming up and is perfect for this time of the year.
