small fitting

I usually buy the xxs (12) or xs (14) sizes but the jacket looked like it might be a fairly straight cut and then lined as well so I went for the 16. rnSo glad I did as otherwise it would have been too snug across the hips. It fit like an 14. So go up a size.

Light but warm

I bought this jacket to wear when I visit Melbourne in winter and for my next European river cruise in late November. Much better than a cardigan when outside. Gorgeous soft feel. There are no puckers in mine and the fit is perfect as I did buy a size up. Even two sizes up would fit comfortably over bulky tops although the sleeves could be too long. This is not an all-day-out-in-the-snow jacket, more for out on balconies, walking from car to restaurants or looking classy standing around the bbq on a cold night
