Stunning dress and so comfortable. I bought this for a gala night on the Queen Mary . It certainly looked impressive and such a refreshing change to find plus size clothing that fits so comfortably.

Pretty embroidery

I ordered this online as there was no store near me that had it in stock. Being a sucker for blues and embroidery it was a must have to fill a gap in the wardrobe as I tend to buy classic clothes when I see them rather than being disappointed having to shop at the last minute for an outfit for a special occasion. The dress fits well (the undress sits nicely, not tight) and the embroidery is even prettier in person. I am a size 18 tall hourglass figure, in a perfect world I would prefer the embroidered overlay to be a little more of a straight shift as it is a little full from the hips to the hem than indicated in the photos, this can be altered. The hem detail finishes the dress delightfully.rn I look forward to wearing this and it being a part of my wardrobe for many years to come, knowing the usual quality of TS clothes.

Beautiful dress

I have admired this dress online for a couple of months but my local store didn’t have it in stock. We had a wedding in Qld & found it at Robina but not in my size. Robina told me Capabala had it in my size so my wonderful husband drove me an hour and half to try it on. The staff at Capabala were wonderful and made me feel confident and beautiful when I tried it on. The dress is even more stunning once on and the material was so comfortable I felt like a princess. I received lots of compliments at the wedding and it was so worth the long drive. This is the second time I have purchased a dress for a wedding from Taking Shape & they are both my favourite items in my wardrobe. Thank you.

Pretty but expensive

I was drawn to the colours of the pretty embroidery on the mesh overlay and the unusual design, which is a plus. Must admit, on arrival, I quite liked it, but wasn't completely wowed in light of all the 5 star reviews. I do feel that this dress is overpriced even with the 25% Easter discount. It's basically a slip with an embroidered mesh overlay. Very simple with not much substance. I think it would have looked fantastic on navy mesh as opposed to black but that's just my personal taste. I ordered size 24 and could probably get away with the 22. Sizing appears to be on the generous side. However, I do like it enough not to return it mainly because it fits and I don't think I will see anyone else wearing it as it's quite unique and pretty. I look forward to wearing it.

Loved the fit

Absolutely loved the fit and the colours, I got lots of compliments and I felt wonderful in it, I purchased for our sons wedding which was cocktail dress code and had been looking for months. Service in the Launceston store was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, very very helpful. Highly recommend.
