Gingham is incredibly on trend right now but the options for plus size ladies were not so great. I have now purchased this dress and another gingham dress from here and they are absolutely gorgeous. This dress is a really lovely shorter length at front but longer at back so no flashing of knickers, it also covers thighs and touches on my knees (I am 5'9) which are parts I am not the keenest on showing off so I love that this is a modest shorter length. Lovely quality material but still light enough to wear, doesn't stick to my under arms so no risk of nasty sweat patches. Really flattering as it is a tailored cut around the top and floaty from under bust. It is a wee bit smaller in the bust than my other dresses from this brand in the same size however I still love it and am really enjoying it. I have had lots of compliments wearing this dress.

Loving the shorter length!

Further to my previous review, I ended up keeping this dress. I paired it with the floral tiered tunic and the two looked fantastic together. Checks and florals - I don’t how it worked, but it did. I received many compliments for my outfit. I have become used to the style of this dress and no longer notice the under bust seam. In fact, I would so love to see this same dress in other colours - pastels like blue, lemon and aqua.

Sleeves too tight

I loved this dress on but the sleeves were too tight around the band! I would need to unpick the sleeves & add a piece in to make them comfortable! I’m finding this with quite a few sleeves on this season’s designs which is extremely disappointing for me!
